With more than 300 performances per year, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the music presented by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>. The Atlanta Symphony Hall in the Woodruff Arts Center is the Orchestra\u2019s main concert venue, but they can also be heard playing at Encore Park and Chastain Park<\/a>. The Orchestra was founded in 1945 and is in the top 7 in the country by budget size. Their performances have been heard around the world with tours in Europe and several shows in Berlin, and have been awarded multiple Grammy awards. They are currently directed by Robert Spano and in the past have attracted well-known soloists such as Isaac Stern and Glenn Gould.
